I sat down and interviewed a dear friend of mine, Maegan, about the current state of affairs in her home country of Barbados. Mia Mottley is Barbados’ eighth prime minister, and first woman. She’s also openly gay. I felt that Maegan, currently engaged to a Canadian woman, could offer an interesting and local take on the subject. Please enjoy this short audio piece.
